Making Tax Digital

From April 2026, sole traders and landlords with income over £50,000 send HMRC a quarterly update. If that's you, it's already in your fee, and we'll set up the software with you.

Twelve months, one figure.

Here is a year for a typical client of ours: a limited company with two staff, registered for VAT, on £195 a month. The work changes from month to month. The fee doesn't.

Payroll runs every month, and on the 1st you get an email from us saying what's due.

Seven of us, above the greengrocer's.

Clare Fenwick spent eleven years auditing companies far bigger than any of our clients, then set up the practice in 2012 to work for the people who actually run things. Tom Hale joined in 2017 and runs payroll and VAT. With three bookkeepers and a payroll clerk, and Ama Owusu on the phone, there are seven of us.
